    Lilium

I am not an expert on this type of shot but I would say they are pretty successful. I prefer the side on composition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Meet the family

Nice. I have never tried this as I don't have a remote release. I know how hard it is to get children to stay still enough to pose. So getting the whole family in must be hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Old car... older camera

This is a really great shot. Hand held large format photography seems to be quite rare these days but this shot shows that it is worthwhile. I plan to do some handheld shots with my linhof technika having recently had lenses rangefinder calibrated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Need Clarification With Kodak HC-110

According to this website http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/hc110/ "Ansel Adams used HC-110 dilution G (syrup 1:119) as a compensating developer to increase shadow detail without blocking highlights"

    Need Clarification With Kodak HC-110

You don't need to use the whole bottle to make the 1+3 stock, you can make whatever quantity you want. I think the only reason they suggest diluting it via this two step process is because of the difficulty of accurately measuring the small amounts of viscous liquid. I tend to avoid the two...

    Catrigg Force

I like the image, in particular the choice is shutter speed gives a sense of movement in the fall but also retains texture in the water pool. I am sure the print is a joy to view. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

This is great. Very cleverly lit. I would be interested to know why you used both front and rear tilt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Portrait of my son

Thanks Martin and Keith for your kind words. I was pleased with this one and have made a nice print of it in the darkroom. Ha, there is no secret I guess a bit of luck comes into it. I tried to be a bit entertaining behind the camera whilst doing all the technical bits and managed to keep his...

    Portrait of my son

I am finding that taking pictures of children with large format is quite a fun challenge. This was in natural window light. I used my Linhof master technika, and Schneider APO 210mm, Ilford hp5+ pushed one stop, f8 1/15 sec. Developed in Ilford DDX 1:4. img336 by biotecbob, on Flickr
