One thing that I am finding is that it's difficult to load images. I have tried both dragging to the greyed space and clicking on Upload File, and neither seems to work well. Inexplicably, after several futile tries, it seems to work.
Are there any guidelines or rules, please?

Drag n Drop is not supported, pressing the Upload File button is the preferred method. 1200px on the longest size is what the forum is set to

Thank you. Drag'n'drop seemed to work sometimes. A grey box appears with "Drop your files here to upload" in it and there is the usual green plus-sign (+) on the icon I'm dragging. In the top right of the screen I see short grey bars moving L>R which I presume shows that something is happening.
The Upload a File button gives me a blank progress bar, stuck at 1% and after while, a message: "There was a problem uploading your file."
I'll try again with my file reduced from 1200px wide to 1150, just in case. Is there any preference for Greyscale or RGB? I'm loading JPEGs 72 dpi, quality 10.

sRGB (make sure you embed the profile) and Quality 10 is fine

    I get this message:
    The following error occurred
There was a problem uploading your file.

    617 Micklepage Pan.jpg

File is JPEG, sRGB, 1150x354px I'm using Safari.
