    Morning,

Came across the link to this forum from Martins Monochrome forum, so thought I would have a nose and introduce myself.

I have been shooting LF 5x4 for the last 4-5 years and started with a Chamonix 045N-2 but now use an Ebony 45SU although I still have the Cham. My passion is B&W landscapes and with that I use Ilford Delta 100 film rated at 64 using various focal lengths from 75 up to 400mm. I self develop at home in Prescysol EF, scan on the Epson V700 using the Epson scan software and then print on the Epson 3880.

    Cheers

No where now. Was direct from Peter Hogan through his website Monochrome Photography but he closed shop today because of rising costs and low orders. I'm a bit stuffed now! :( See http://www.monochromephotography.com

Have you ever considered using Diafine as an alternative to the staining developer

Not until now no. Will have to look into it once home. Is it something you use Martin, if how do you find working with it?

Yes I use it quite a lot, and also Xtol, Diafine works very well with Trix 320, Ilford FP4+, and Fuji Acros, iso needs to be altered with these films usually up rating, I use Trix at 400~1000, FP4 at 200 and Acros at 100~160, the negatives souped in Diafine scan extremely well, I don't follow the box instructions and do it differently shown by Tim Layton, if you get your hands on some I will send you a PDF of the process.
