Low Agitation And Super-Dilute HC-110

How did the sharpness appear at this dilution

The acutance is about what I have come to expect from this kind of development. It's hard to tell exactly because it was a quick test: A) It was handheld B) It was 120 rollfilm shooting 645 C) It was Arista 100 which I not used before

There is no question that the film itself matters. Efke is hands down the sharpest (and most noticeably so) of all the film's I've tried with low agitation.

On balance, the enlargements looks good given the small negative. I suspect 5x4 on a tripod would yield noticeably better outcomes.

If anyone cares, I can post a print scan at full resolution.

I also wonder if anyone has done super-dilution of D-23. I have no issues with using it at 1:1 for semistand, but I wonder what further dilution might yield. There is so little metol in it I wonder if one reaches a point at which it's unable to develop much of anything ...
