Meet the family

Nice. I have never tried this as I don't have a remote release. I know how hard it is to get children to stay still enough to pose. So getting the whole family in must be hard.

Now that spring might be 'just around the corner' I decided that might just be the time to get down to the darkroom and clean/dust out some more film holders...
On my fourth holder I found one side was still 'locked down". Discression being the better part of valour I switched off the lights and was somewhat surprised to find a sheet of HP4 still in place.. and decided that it was 'probably' exposed.. so got to work with making up some fresh Pyrocat HD and processing that one sheet.

I am more than happy I did so, since Ceilidh (the Lab) is no longer with is and this is one of only two photographs of her... while they were sleeping and not 'in conversation' with one another, I am reminded of
Robert Burn's poem of 'twa dugs' and decided to 'adopt' the title for this photograph.
