Anyone in the UK side of the forum got a Copal 0 bored Wista/Linhof/Shen Hao/Generic lens board doing nothing that they might want to sell?

I could do Ian but to be honest I can do without the hassle and if someone's got one lying around doing nothing then we can both benefit if the price is right. If not then I will make one, I'm certainly not going to pay the silly prices being asked on fleabay. ;)

Or indeed looked at the price of new boards on Mike Walker's site (£20 (+ VAT I think)).

Of course, thank's for the reminder Stephen, I forgot that I had a couple off Mike's site quite some time ago.

That's the place I get mine from. The price has always seemed very reasonable. You might want to think about another (inexpensive) cable release from Mike to go with whatever lens is going into the new board.

Also ffordes and Secondhand Darkroom Supplies seem to do them at a lot less than fleabay.

His prices/quality are probably the best in the UK for generics in my opinion Stephen but would you belive it, I've been offered a couple free in exchange for a favour - a trade I'm more than happy to accept. :) I'm ok for cable releases so no problem there and thanks to all for your suggestions.

It looks like 25 GBP is a common price in the UK - that's what Intrepid want for their new boards. I usually make my own, since I don't need all the details of a true Linhof board. US prices are not much different - sales tax is generally lower than VAT, but you have to watch shipping.

I expect there will be a demand for Sinar boards, and Sinar adapters once Intrepid ships their 8x10

I really need to find time to remake my Wista board to MPP VII shim - that's one item that isn't manufactured.
