I have lived in the film world since 1970 at the tender age of 14 (35mm) and started to develop soon after. I have a Braun Paxette, 2 Olympus OM1 MD black, Rollei 35S along with a Bronica ETRS. All of which I still use.
My large format life started when given an MPP Mk 5 and 3 Schneider lenses 90/150/180. I received the lenses back from being rebuilt 2 weeks before lockdown. I enjoy LF as the process is very slow and considered, having taken some 100 ish shots to date am still very much still learning. I currently use Rodinal and Ilfosol 3 but am thinking of venturing down the Thornton 2 bath method.
The other thing I enjoy are the conversations the camera generates from 'What is that' to an elderly gentleman who used to make glass plates.

Welcome from the other side of the pond. Much to be gleaned here.

Hello Andrew and welcome to the forum. I live not too far from you - in the Vale of Pickering. I also have some of the same cameras as you. OM1 and Bronica ETRS.
You mention developers. What method are you using to develop sheet film?

Alan

Welcome.
Yes, you can meet some very interesting people under the dark cloth.
Curiously, I was once out shooting when two (I think) camera clubs turned up on an outing. Not a squeak out of any of them.

Welcome Andrew, you live in a good photo opportunity place, the old camera's do make for some interesting talking points. I was out shooting with my MPP Mk7 and mostly young people thought I was shooting video.

Welcome from North Worcestershire, and another MPP owner, I now just have 2 MkIII's.

Hi I am a Leeds lad, although I live now in Otley which I’m sure you know

Apologies to not responding sooner.
Martin I like the wet cobble photos from around All Saints. May be if you are interested we could have a coffee meet as if there are two maybe more would wish to join. I am only up the hill in Guiseley.
Alan I have in the main used Rodinal in a Stearman Press SP455, using the agitate and bang method every minute. For 35mm and 120 I use a plastic spiral tank. I have been looking at the Barry Thornton 2 bath method since buying his book several weeks ago

I too am not far from you near York, a belated welcome to the group.
