What does it do for X ray film ? I’ve got a whole load of Fuji HR-U and was wondering about that.

Jonathan, Nikki just called me about something else unrelated, so I asked about the X-ray film developer. She will check with Bellini.

Usually an X-ray developer is quite High Contrast but a Lith developer is even higher contrast.

Unrelated but I wonder if it's possible to process x-ray film into a b&w positive?

Hi Jonathan, apologies for the delay in replying, we were away for a few days.

I asked the factory and got this reply..

The dev is high contrast and it’s used for Xray films and graphic arts. For the latter, the dilution and timing will depend on what one wants to achieve but we haven’t run tests. The dilution usually used is 1 + 3 but it can also be diluted 1 + 2 or 1 + 4 (again depending on results desired in terms of contrast). It’s suitable for use on Lith film.

If you would like to give it a try and see how you get on, give me a shout at inf@ntphotoworks.com and we will see what we can do in terms of a tester for you
