I know we are a large format forum but I am sure you must have other formats.

I have in my collection

Bessa RF 6x9 (Heliar lens)
Bessa 11 6x9 (Heliar coated lens)
Mamiya 6 folding camera 6x6
Rollieflex 3.5f 6x6
Fujifilm GA645zi 6x4.5
Kodak box brownie
Pentax Lx
Plus my Chamonix 4x5, 150 & 90mm lens
Zero image 6x6 pinhole camera

I use them all from time to time and enjoy them all, the easiest to use is the 646zi, fully automated with a superb short zoom.

The the folders, Bessa and Mamiya 6 are not blessed with great viewfinders however you get used to them and they produce great images and very pockatable.

My favorite is the Rollieflex, the Planer lens is amazing, I use for night shots, produces hardly any star burst on lights, lamps etc

The LX is a great camera, big viewfinder, the metering is very special in this camera and works flawlessly,

The brownie was my first camera and still works it must be near 50years old

The Zero image pinhole is quite superb, love it.

What if any cameras do you own, film of course

Oh man, I'm embarrassed to list them all...so, I'll just list the ones I use regularly (well...like you said...from time-to-time):

Deardorff 8x10
Toho FC-45X 4x5
Hasselblad 500C/M
Fuji GA-645Zi
Pentax 67II
Zeiss Super Ikonta III 6x6
Zeiss Mess Ikonta 6x9
Agfa Isolette III
Nikon F2
Leica M6

Several of these are used more than the others and I have more, but those are rarely, if ever, used. I probably ought to think about selling off some cameras, but I'm a bit lazy! ;)

I recently traded in a Bronica Etrs, Mamiyaflex C330 Pro and a Mamiya Press and I'm left with a Kershaw Penguin folding camera circa 1951, Canon A1, Canon AE1, Yashica Minister, Pentax 645N with an MPP MkVIII and a Shen Hao HZX45 IIA, both 5x4 cameras, completing the line up.

I've got one or two tucked away....

In large format (all 5x4), a Walker Titan SF, Canham DLC and a Wista DX.

In roll film, Mamiya RZ67, RB67, C330f. And a Coronet 2.25x3.25 box camera and a Kodak Brownie Flash 20 (uses 620 film).

35mm is where we hit the jackpot. Exakta Varex IIb, OM1, OM2, OM4, OM4Ti, Nikon F2, Nikon F3 - and to fill in the gap in the F series, an F1 (but from Canon). While on the Canon front, there's also a Canon Dial half frame, a Powershot Z something or other "compact" with a zoom lens (pocketable in a poacher's [pocket). Back to Olympus for an XA. Minolta are represented with a Dynax 9xi. For some reason, I don't have a Pentax... I also have my first 35mm camera still, which was a Welmy (and no, I know nothing about them other than owning the camera). No meter (naturally) and no rangefinder either.

On the novelty front, a Mycro which uses subminiature film.

I think that that's about it.

As far as I can recall, apart from one colour negative film about 3 or 4 years ago, I haven't used 35mm for well over 10 years.

Kodak 2D 8x10
Chamonix F1 4x5
Yashicamat and baby bessa for rollfilm
Minolta XD7 and X500 for 135 film

Everything is used, not daily but several time in a month.

Bear in mind I have been at this a while...

Kershaw Penguin (6x9) and Voitlander Vito B (35mm) (both my father's)

Otherwise, by format:
35mm
2 OM1 bodies, OM2
645
Fuji GS645s
6x6
Mamiya C330 and C220, Zeiss Ikonta 6x6, YashicaMat, Mamiya 6 (new type)
6x9
Zero Image 6x9
5x4
Wista DX, MPPVII
8x10
Home built monorail

The 35mm stuff is rarely used - it is hard to use the viewfinder these days. It ought to go. The little Fuji gets used a fair bit, especially when traveling. Otherwise use is roughly in reverse order of listing.

As I recall, one OM1 was new, everything else was bought used.

The ones I use are

6x6: Hasselblad 501CM, Hasselblad 503CW, Hasselblad 903SWC, Hasselblad Flexbody, Hasselblad 2000FC, Rolleicord Xenar 75mm 3,5
6x6-6x12: Zero Image Pinhole
4x5: Graflex Speed Graphic, Harman Titan Pinhole
8x10: hopefully soon, I have just sold most of my other equipment (incl. Rolleiflex, Mamiya RB67, Leica M7) to finance one ;-)

...and when I am completely honest...I actually have two 501CMs... there is just something about those cameras...:)

Agreed! I've always said...my wife will have to pry my Hassy equipment from my cold dead hands!! ;) :)

During my 'working years', I purchased 3 Hasselblad cameras... and I must admit I much preferred using them over the Nikon 35mm with 50 mm. lenses that seemed to be more 'commonplace'... but the 'square' negative did not always fill the needs. After my retirement, I invested in an RB67... which I found to be somewhat 'nicer' (for my needs anyway) than either printing 'square' or 'cropping to the rectangle'. The RB does not (and probably will not) 'replace' my preference for the large format's ability for the "single exposure". I did not (and still do not) like having to wait to 'use up' the remainder of the roll.

Ken

@KenS: I found the RB67 too heavy and difficult to handhold (I have quite small hands) for me which I can still do nicely with the Hasselblads and I am as you can see on my website a real "lover" of squares so that was never a problem :D. I like that I have different formats and you are very right about the "remainder of the roll" ;)...

@Alan9940: Yeah, I will need a BIG coffin o_O

35mm: Nikons F2 AS, FMn2, Leicas
MF: Hasselblads(2 503 CWs, 903 SWC, 553 ELX), Rollei SL 66
LF: Sinar X (P2)

and lots of original lenses and magazines ...

and, yes, I am a freak of mechanical, analogue cameras ;-)

5x4: Ebony SV45TE, Linhof Master Technika 2000, Linhof Technikardan 45

BUT.... how many of them can you (or do you) 'take-out for a walk' at the same time?

Ken

(... who now has a strange mental 'picture' of Mike bent over under the mass of lenses for each of his cameras, a tripod, rolls of both 120 and 35 mm films, loaded film holders, light meter and 'changing bag'........

Ken

In my case, I don't think I've ever taken more than a 5x4, tripod, loaded darkslides, focusing cloth, two light meters, assorted filters and an RZ67 out at once. I have a stroll up the north face path on Ben Nevis in mind as I type, although there have been other times. N.B. I also included one lens for each. It all goes in either my backpack or my Billingham waistcoat.

Sometimes I will travel light and substitute a Mamiya C330f for the RZ67.

Stephen.....you been talking to my wife? That's exactly the argument she gives me when another prospective purchase is on the horizon :)

"you don't need another camera/lens/tripod/meter/etc, etc"....."no dear you're right, but life would be very dull if we only got what we need" :)

Anyone know a good divorce solicitor? :)

In case anyone doesn't know, the Intrepid 10x8 camera is now on Kickstarter.
I'd better make it clear that I have no connection with Intrepid, other than having one of their Mark 1 cameras.
