The more I am reading and practicing with the 5x4 camera, the more I am starting to understand. One of the key factors out in the field for me, is to take notes. Notes on exposure times, pre-visualization, weather and developing considerations etc etc.
I do this in a homemade log book I created as discussed on a previous thread. The more I looked at the notes I had taken, the more I realised that I wanted to transfer this information in a digital form and attach it to each photograph inside my Lightroom Catalog Database. The plugin will work on both the Windows and Mac platforms
I decided to write a plugin for Lightroom which would add an additional field to the Meta-Data panel whereby the information from the log book I use in the field could be easily transferred across.
The information is stored inside the Lightroom Database along side the individual image but does NOT get written out to the EXIF when the image is exported. The reason for this is because we do not want our personal notes been written into the file for everyone to read.

I plan to release this on my website after I have conducted some additional testing but so far, everything appears to be working just as expected.
