Assuming N development is 17 minutes at 20 degrees c.
Looking at the Ilford conversion chart, the same N development at 25 degrees c would be reduced to 10:30

Would one expect to see any difference in tone, grain etc by using the new time at the increased temperature?

There are no differences in anything as long as you keep all stages at the same temperature,

Thanks, Ian, just wanted to confirm as this time of year is hard to get the loft/darkroom temperature down
Slighty sideways of the topic but thought It may be worth mentioning.

Depending on how much use it would get / availability to do so it might be worth looking into something not unlike I built a few years back for a different reason but would have the same outcome.

As well as photography etc... I also do a bit of homebrew. Now during the summer months my brew area gets way to warm at times and not having any heating in there either means over night at the time it also fell below where I would like it to be at for brewing beer etc...

I grabbed an old fridge and wired in a small 50w greenhouse heater at the bottom along with a fan.
Now the fridge and the heater then both got wired into a cheap stc1000 controller which you can then set a temperature with a probe in the fridge and it will regulate it between the heater and the fridge.
Now something like this could be rigged up on a smaller scale with a small beer cooler or something

Just thought I would mention it in case it helps and could be setup very cheap if needed. I could keep the beer brewing within 1C of where I wanted it with that setup even during heatwaves etc...
