2021, but I only just got round to making a print. Contact print on Adox Lupex. Chamonix 10x8, lens was probably a Schneider 240/5.6, Ilford FP4+ tray processed in Pyrocat HD.

Do you still use an enlarger for the contact print exposure on the Adox Lupex paper?

And, I'm curious how you get around the clear film rebate giving a black border?

No enlarger, it's a super slow paper. I have a bright LED bulb on the ceiling above the enlarger, I connect it to the enlarger timer. It gives me exposures between 30 seconds and a minute, which gives lots of time for dodging and burning.

I just made some different masks out of mount board for 8x10 and 5x7, they sit on top of the contact printing frame and mask out the edges of the paper.
