In this box of paper I was given are 2 boxes of GuilBrom Paper, one is G3 and the other is G4

I am guessing it's French but I haven't heard of it before and judging by the other paper in this box that this is probably from around 1980's.

It must have lost a bit of contrast but it looks to have been a very nice paper in its day.

I just tested it wit a negative from the Holga.

I have a box of Guilleminot glass plates, they were a highly respected company when they closed in 1994 their chemist Guy Gerard who'd been there 30 years started Bergger, he advised Forte on producing Polywarmtone and other papers which were also sold under the Bergger brand name, as were Forte films.

In general Bromide papers keep quite a long time provided storage is reasonable often no fog but just a drop in speed and grade. I gave a way quite a few hundred sheets of mostly Kodak Bromide paper and tested every box, it all dated to the 1960's. All were small sizes and went to a good cause someone teaching young peoples workshops.

Guilleminot were a very old company dating back to 1858. I suspect that box/packet was bought from Martin Reed at Silverprint.
