Dorset isn't that far from me here in Southampton, and so it wasn't long before getting slightly bored of the usual shot at Kimmeridge. I should note that this is also down to my clear inability to be there when the conditions are perfect! Anyway, I wanted something a little more unusual from Kimmeridge and this was a shot that, all told, I'm quite pleased with.

I like the slight air of mystery and the smoothness of the foreground pebbles in this picture Jonathan.
 
Many thanks Keith, appreciate the comment. I was lucky with the tide here, with it being fully in. When the tide is out, a quite unsightly bed of sea weed is revealed. If one wants "the shot" from here, the entire army of photographers has to congregate in a tighter group out on the spit of rock... which ca be interesting!
 
Very nice JW, the sharpness of the pebbles works really well.
 
For a split second IO thought this was a misty view from a hill top. Great image, I like it,
