New Potatoes

That bottom potato n looks destined for a Trump McDonald's meal, just look at its face, and it has ears :D.

Interesting, I think I'd have honed in more towards the bottom 2/3rds.

Very nicely done, but I think I’d agree with Ian. The dark area above the gloves does nothing for the composition and it would be nice to see a little more space below the rim of the bowl.
I’d like to suggest that this image illustrates the difficulties of using the upside-down screen. It’s sometimes hard to get these proportions right. Curiously, left/right inversion doesn't seem to create the same difficulty.
I’m speaking from personal experience here, so I might be alone.

Not a spud lover but I like these.
As others have said I would have cut it off level with the cuffs of the gloves, maybe a slight rotation etc... to get the tops of the cuffs at the top of the frame. On a side note, good to see someone else using EuroHC Dilution H. Although I am about to try pyrocat for the first time EuroHC has done well for a good while now

I think I settled for a sub-optimal composition because I was so uncomfortable under the dark cloth on a hot day, I wanted to get it over with. Here's an alternative square crop.

Yes, the heat can build up quite dramatically. I once had a darkcloth that gave off unpleasant fumes in the sun, making me feel quite ill. Only one shot that day. Never used it again.
