Taken on the hottest day the year. I had intended to make a series of similar glancing pictures, but life under the darkcloth was difficult. Additionally, the heat made the cloth give off strange fumes, so we went for an ice-cream and a paddle on Queen Victoria's private beach instead.

Despite my attempt at drift-past, the developer warmed up in my very hot darkroom and the neg is denser than I would have liked.
The Paterson Orbital had a calculator for drift-past. Does anyone know of a general formula?
