An image made some years ago, it was impossible to print. So last night I bleached the negative in Potassium Ferricyanide/Bromide bleach, then redeveloped in Pyrocat HD. Suddenly a negative that prints and scans well. Originally I'd planned to go back and shoot more however that was impossible as the woods were suddenly behind a security fence and became a huge marl hole. No planning permission was needed as there were remnants of small collieries.

The Forum algorytham has killed the sharpness. When I checked the scan there was an area that was suspect. not noticeable when down-sized but obvious just looking at the negative and just weird.

Thanks, I'd wanted to go back, the location had been a wooded area belonging to the Earl of Dudley, dotted with the remains of old small collieries, brick pillars, bits of railway wagons. When I did go back, only a few weeks later, it was surrounded by chain fences and became a huge marl hole extracting clay for the Earl's nearby Baggeridge Brick company.
