Amazon are selling a 26 piece adapter set for 1p under £12, it includes 10 3/8" to1/4" adapters, as well as items to allow a studio flash head to be attached to a tripod, and more. For the price it's a very useful set.
My set arrived this afternoon, excellent for the price, I bought a Calumet CK7981 tripod extension arm last month, in mint condition for less than half the new price. The downside is it is designed for 3/8" tripods, so the adapter est gives me greater flexibility with it.
