Whitby North Yorkshire

One place I will certainly be heading for after the purchase of my 1st 4x5 will be Whitby in North Yorkshire.

I have made many photographs of this place over the years on various formats including 35mm, digital and Medium Format but I feel there are certain parts of this historic place that would excel on large format.

I think that there must be something in the air in Yorkshire conducive to large format, considering the over-representation on this forum of folk from there! When I was in Whitby using a large format camera at the lower level near the swing bridge I had a passer-by on the pavement call down that he had an Ebony...
