Great Personally I'd have found or made a plain background. I like the umbrella idea but the furniture in the background is distracting.
When I was a penniless aspiring pro I hand dyed linen sheets bought in a second hand shop to make backgrounds. These days I have a few professionally made backgrounds ... they are not super cheap but they last forever and are way better than paper background rolls.
Thanks for the comment. It was one of my first ever LF photographs, composed to try out the idea of a non parallel focal plane, so, although not of supreme artistry, it achieved its aim, I think.
