Just a quick note to introduce myself as I am new to the forum. I work in a factory, although I have been photographing since I was 14 years old. I am now on the wrong side of the 60s.
I mainly photograph in 35mm, yes and digital, but I also use MF and 4X5 and a home made 5X7.
I chose this old photo of the now demolished Agecroft power station near Salford in Manchester UK ( they built a prison on its grounds later, sign of progress in Manchester I guess ). It dates back from Oct 1986.
It was taken on my Toyo View 4X5 monorail using a 150mm Symmar lens. Sadly I am not very good at record keeping so no details, but I am pretty sure the developer was HC110 dilution B, as this was the one I used for MF and LF.
I found years later that John Davies had photographed the same scene around the same time, albeit from a different perspective, for his book. Sadly no claim to fame for me.
