Old Jobo 2000 series tanks.

I think so, the basic difference is the 2000 series are inversion tanks, while the 2500 series were designed for rotary use. Essentially Jobo made two diameter spirals, the smaller ones are similar in size to Paterson spirals, and then withe wider ones which include those taking sheet film.

I bought my first 2000 series tank new around 1977, it takes 2 5x4 spirals, I bought another secondhand in 2006, it takes the spirals from a much later 4322 tank, same diameter spirals and centre column.

Thanks Ian.

Which model of the old style Jobo tanks with the screw on lids would be a good choice? That is 2000 or 4000 series. (I hope I have that bit right.)

There are too many variations, for instance the 4322 tank I have will take a 9x12 sheet spiral but not a 5x4, and then the 4312 uses the narrower diameter spirals. I'd need to go and look at an old Nova Darkroom catalogue.
