Hi all, here are the first shots from my series "Anatomy of a Tulipa" I started a while ago as a tribute to John Blakemore's work.
Gear: Wista 45N / Fujinon 150mm f/5.6 / 5x4 Fomapan 100, EI 50.
I have also created some kallitype prints from the negatives on Bergger COT 320 paper.

Around 1988/89 I went to a talk by John Blakemore in Oldham. Very inspiring. I've always loved his work - and a couple of years ago bought one of his images from the 'thistle' series. It has pride of place on the living room wall.
