One more from the Sole Common Pond trip.

Intrepid 5x4, FP4+, Ilfotec HC, but this was with the Schneider Xenar 180mm, 1/2 at f/16.

James, I think you need to close in in general on what you are seeing to make a stronger image. In this case it's this bit of tree below which to me is this tree which reminds me of a wreck of a wooden boat.



I think if you'd have a very strong image if you'd moved closer used a bit of differentialfocus, more simply said let the background drop out of focus slightly with a wider aperture.
