Hi folks, I've just bought myself a Thornton Pickard 'Imperial Triple Extension' half plate camera.

It's my first non-digital camera.

Eventually glass wet plates yes, though I think I'll start with some of the zebra glass dry plates.

My Mrs has twice been to Belfast with work (and without me!) - she raves about the welcome, music and pubs!

Now I may be able to persuade her to take ME over the water for all the pub stuff and some Large Format camera-derie too.

It'll be cheaper to use film whilst sorting out things like light leaks and generally getting used to the camera.
