Chargers for London and Paris

Have a look again at the top where devices are plugged in- again, I have not used this myself, but this seems to be what you want based on the photo:

Thise are where the selected male pins extend that get connected to the wall. You slide the selected slider on the side for either Europe, BG or the US/Aus

Taking another look, there could be the male pins at the opposite side. It;s not very clear.

OK so have a look at this view of the thing (it IS confusing). Using the USB ports to orient how we look at it, we see that the pins that go into the wall go out the "back" of the device (when the USB sockets are at the "top"), and the female sockets that you plug into are on the "front" (when the USB sockets are at the "bottom"). In any case, it can't hurt to order it and return if it's not doing the right thing:

You appear right. Whoever put together the pictures in the description should be shot. Additionally the description of the unit only speaks of USB outputs not AC outputs. So that's an error as well.

Apple makes this World Travel Adapter Kit. As long as you've got cables that can plug into the USB-C ports then it'll power phones and laptops as they provide DC output from an AC supply.

There's no AC output receptacle as far as I can tell. It only has ports for USB cables. If you need to charge a camera battery that uses a charger that plugs in to a wall, this won't work.

Which is why we recommended the other "global" adapter. But don't forget that a US charger must be capable of running on 220-240 volts, unless you like the smell of burning plastic and the sound of smoke alarms.

As for high current devices like hairdryers, etc, either use the hotel provided one or pop out and buy a cheap one.

Yes my US charger runs on 100-240vac.
