Derelict Cottage, Garve

Much photographed over the years, my visit in November 20 showed clear signs of action around this old cottage. My visit earlier this year found it had since been demolished, presumably for a newbuild home. Refrigerated 2007 HP5+ in HC-110 Dil B. Ebony RSW45 & Nikon 90/f8 at f32.

Lovely tones, has the lens caused the distortion to the verticals or is it like that

Thanks Martin, I think it's a bit of both as I was close in to the building, but it was certainly a bit off the square as well. A wider shot below with the same kit.

I've been visiting that house for the past 30 years.....it is/was about 30 mins from my house.

Not a bad site for a new build!

It had become a destination in itself for me, or at least a detour off the road to Ullapool. I guess I was never really happy with the light, and always felt there was a better shot to be had. Progress, eh?

When the light was right, the vegitation stopped the exploration of the site.
