These are local to me, I have not quite nailed these subjects, i had a slight mishap in development, but getting there I think. I am going to try a red filter next time. I had a few locals intrested in my gear as I was using my MPP Micro Tech, and I could not concentrait on the images, I also had a visit from the Police, they had a drone up searching the river banks for lost lady from Garstang.

Not sure why you think you haven't quite nailed this subject. I think the first two are really good - beautifully composed. You missed the front of the boat in the third photo-a pity- but you no doubt know that.
Not sure why you have decided to use a red filter next time. I would have thought the choice of filter would depend on conditions on the day.

Alan I shot them with my Schneider150mm lens @ F22 1/15th sec, and the Wreck 5 one was F16 @ 1/30th, I metered for the darks and the highlights and averaged it with my sekonic spot meter. I did a stand dev of 1 hour in 510 pyro both films in the same tub . The first two are FP4 and the third is Formapan 200.

Thanks Flack. I don't know how you have the patience to develop film for an hour! My FP4 gets 12.5 minutes in ID11, at 1+2, in a Paterson orbital.
You have got an interesting subject to photograph here. I wonder if there are any other wrecks in the area. Could make a nice ongoing project.

They are all quite lovely without qualification.
I suspect you will spend many hours and sheets of film getting the feel and nuance of light and composition in this place. It's a location begging to be deeply explored. I am certainly you will discover all manner of beauty in light earlier- and later in the day, for example. I know my "magnet" spots draw me back over and over to find that elusive "wow" image.
It's interesting that you're getting solid results from 510 Pyro. Like many others, I fiddled a bit with it but found nothing there to commend it over PMK or Pyrocat-HD, but each to his own.

I have been there early in the morning and the sun is in the wrong place, its right behind them. I plan on going at sunset so it should be nice light falling on them at that time. You cant get right around them as it's tidal and quite slippy and full of mud. You can see how high the water comes with the tidal marks on the hull.
Its a favourite spot for wild life, most of it is a nature reserve.
