Formapan 200 - Speed rating and Reciprocity

I've read thronobulax's excellent summary of his experiments with film development. I'd like to offer two comments. These are not complaints or objections.
Firstly "...highlights with VC papers."
Secondly is the reference to Atget. From the little we know, he seemed to use longish development. He used a safelight, so I suggest that the important factor was development by inspection. This is speculation on my part.

In my reading, Aget also ran into problems with bromide drag, but I can not find a primary source to confirm this.
 
Google doesn’t know. It suggests using simpler terms like “cake recipes.” I haven’t tried that yet. Another day perhaps…
Berenice Abbot mentions being admitted to Atget’s red-lit darkroom to see the plates lying in their trays. She doesn’t seem to have been very curious about his methods. All that she reported about his equipment was that it weighed about sixty pounds. A odd thing for a Frenchman to tell her and an even odder thing to ask.
