One of these was taken on Delta 100, one on FP4+ and one on HP5+. Does anyone care to say which is which?boulders spaunton moor.jpgsilver birch.jpgwhite boat, paddys hole.jpg

I'd say the top one, which I would guess would be FP4 but I could be wrong! The second one is HP5 and the last Delta 100? The last one is a pinhole camera?

The problem here is I use Delta 100, & HP5, often at the same time but different formats, and prints match.

I have 3 prints in a current exhibition set, and you would assume they were made the same day. In fact, although they are at the same location, Wheal Jane, near St Agnes, they different years (12 between first and last), and times of day, and different films/formats. Tmax100 - 5x4, Delta 100 - 120, and HP5 - 5x4.

Yes, I could use FP4 I just prefer Delta 100 & 400 for 120, so use it for 5x4 as well. HP5, usually for handheld LF work, but I have grown to like it for 5x4, but I prefer Delta 400 when I need a faster film for 120.

Much of it is down to nailing a film's effective EI & development time, and then printing skills.

Ian, you sound like a politician.:) You didn't answer the question. Which is which?

Doesn't look look like anyone else is going to stick their neck out. So....
TOP FP4
MIDDLE HP5
BOTTOM Delta 100.

Top marks Jonathan, and Barry!

I came a bit late. My guess was last picture to be HP5, middle fp4 and first delta. How wrong was I lol. I’m surprised.

What developer and times are you using?
