Go to portrait lens

I've almost completed an adapter to mount my Sinar shutter to a lens board for my 10x8 Agfa Ansco camera(s), started at 6:30 am :D

It wasn't straight forward bit of a learning curve. Lots of waiting for wood glue to dry, one last saw cut, and it just needs painting before screwing to a lens board. I will post some pictures in the next couple of days. Cost in materials less than £1 :)

Chances are I'll just make a new lens board around it, as I need to make some anyway for the Agfa Ansco 10x8 cameras I'm selling. It doesn't make sense to make a 4"x4"x4" cut out of an existing 7½"x7½" lens board.

You will have fun with that

The finer the material the more diffusion you get. I don't remember (it's been a while) ever having to adjust exposure though. I found it was a problem if you got any light spilling onto the front of the camera and onto the material. It would cause flare across the whole image. I cured that by making some push fit fiters that would fit over the rear element of the lens (RB67 lenses). Gave the same effect.
This is very helpful monopix. Cheers for this
