Hello from north west lancashire

Hi, thought best introduce myself, my names Will, have lurked about here for a bit, i live in northwest england, have always wanted a LF camera nearest i came to it was a houghton butcher 3A postcard size roll film camera.
i recently got off e.bay after pressing the buy it now button at 02:30am a Kodak half plate model B with Kodak Ektar 8 inch f7.7 lens in Epsilon shutter both built in uk, no going back now big rabbit hole on the horizon.
At present trying to get used to using the camera with Foma 7x5 paper before i use film In various film holders from halfplate to 18x13cm and two old 7x5" holders from USA wish me luck!

Thanks Ian, just doing all the normal things like not stopping the lens down before taking the shot, double exposing oneside in the film holder then then thinking why is the other side blank, the kodak model B is a solid camera don't like to upset it by saying it's heavy , like the 7x5 size not too big not too small just right.
