I just haven't scanned it yet

Took my first two images on half plate and then developed them myself in Ars Imago Monobath (I had made a batch for the Lab Box to develop my 35mm and 6x6).

I'll scan them tomorrow and post them in this thread. I just didn't want you to think I had disappeared

Shot on Fomapan 100 using my half plate with the Thornton Pickard Time and Inst Shutter.

Straight out of the scanner.

I used the cable release and managed to lock it open so I got a 16 second exposure rather than a four second one.

I'm not sure what is causing the banding in the scan, it is not on the negative. I'll have to research that.



Got the cable release sorted I'll be using Ilford DD-X going forward as I have a lot of it

Turns out the lines are when I put the ANR glass on the scanner. I'll scan it without and post an adjusted version with some added contrast.

Loading up six more sheets tomorrow of the Fomapan 100. Trying the tack mouting spray on the glass which I've been testying over the past week to make sure it adhere's as well as is easily removed and doesn't affect the film. Not usre I'll get the chance to shoot tomorrow but I'll have something by the end of the week.

Your tacky glue only has to hold the film in place until they are in the holder. Once in, they are clamped against the rebate. If left to dry for a while, it shouldn’t transfer. If it does, it won’t be on the emulsion side, so it shouldn’t cause problems until you come to print or scan. A quick rub with a soft clean cloth should sort it.

I've left the glass to dry overnight and will add the film today.
