Hi all,
I am at the beginning of my LF journey, despite buying all the kit an embarrassingly long time ago... (5 years ...).
Our new 5x4 forum member from SW London, Herb, mentioned a Basics of Large Format course he was enrolled on at City Literature College (CityLit) in Holborn, London.
This piqued my interest and a Google search - https://www.citylit.ac.uk/courses - a conversation with my long suffering wife and London living Son has led me to also sign up for the programme!
£209, 4 x 3 hour sessions, all the Thursdays in June 2026, 10 am to 1 pm.
I am posting to; make others aware of the course, to support the College and see if anyone else from Yorkshire or the East Midlands would like to travel together??
I am able to do the course, while still working full time, due to my Son (and HIS long suffering wife!) putting me up/with me for a night so I can get the train down, and back, at good prices... The Senior Railcard is a godsend...
Happy to chat in the thread about other learning experiences or to coordinate travel you might PM me.
Robert
PS - Herb, sorry if my jumping onto your course has "weirded you out"! Our forum host Ian Barber can vouch that I am sane and reasonable... Can't you Ian?? ??
