Hi all,
This week only 2 of the 8 learners were bang on time, with myself, Matt and Lucy stragglers and 3 others not able to attend at all.
So what? Well... anyone in London seeing empty buildings and people not showing up... with the excuse of "transport problems"... kind of gets to thinking about the worst possible start to a Thursday...
It actually was transport issues for the most part, and someone poorly - I must stop thinking about catastrophe...
Talking of which - I developed 2 images taken about 8 years ago and and there is something there... along with base-layer fogging of my expired-in-2019-HP5...
Oh, and allowing the emulsion side of the film to touch the prongs on the holder... DOH! Nice little oblong marks on the sides - good job 5x4 has plenty of margin for cropping...
Now I know that I wouldn't be too scared of shooting lots more sheets to get into loading the dark-slides and loading into the Patterson drum - both skills I got to practice on the course.
Next week scanning and making inter-negs - I cannot wait!
