I went out at 5am this morning in my home village and took these, these where the only two I took. Shot on Formapan 100 @50asa F16 with my Snapshot with a 90mm Super Angulon F8, the street one was 10mins and the other one was 6 mins. I developed them in Rodinal with stand dev for 1 hour 30mins, I am quite pleased with my first effort can only get better now.
I did notice that I did not load one of the sheet film's fully in to my holder as there was a blank space at one end of about 10mm so need to watch that in future, everything I did with this was a first even using my Steerman, but what a very easy dev tank to use and load.
I scanned the negs with my Epson 850 and Silverfast.

One film holder tested and no light leaks, got one holder loaded, then I need to try out my Grafmatic and see how that goes, cant wait now.

Also Just to say a thank you to Martin Henson for helping me sortout a minor problem with my Camera..

Bravo. You are a couple of steps ahead of me in getting started but I will be chuffed if I turn out such great shots on my first (or 100th) go.

Oh good heavens. I only wish my first LF images had been this high quality. Well done.

Very well done.
I do like mist, but getting up at 5am is against all my most cherished principles..

Getting up at 5am is not against my principles - I just can't seem to manage it - especially not in the winter. And there's the reason why I am envious of those pictures.

Paul believe me it was cold, I wanted to take more but the cold had got to me with just these two standing there for 30mins, but if you want no traffic and people then you need to go this early, sometime we need more motivation to do things.

It takes a lot to get me out of bed at 5.30am. A natural disaster on my doorstep might manage it.

I applaud your dedication Flack.

This is excellent work. Very brave to attempt night work for your first LF outing - it's hard enough in the daylight !
