Wista 45DX 90mm Grandagon f22 and flash, AP100 Rodinal 3 to 100, Record Rapid, selenium toned.

First couple of times I visited this mine this level was flooded, the adit to the right must have been blocked.
This was a multiple flash exposure lenses on B or T, there were two or three other photographers with me and one civilian :D, We used four professional hammer head flashguns, from memory about this one was about32 flash exposures from each unit. I asked them to paint the area with light.

This is a big cavern, everyone else closed their shutters after a few flashes, no-one else got any image. Some set off the flashes when I'd said wait and so my hand and flashgun were captured as I went towards and into the adit. It was a half hour or more Spotone retouching job to remedy this on the print, but is undetectable.

This is part of a series made in the valley.
