This lighthouse is at the mouth of the river Mersey on the New Brighton side. For those of you who like to know this stuff, the exposure info is as follows:
i seem to remember this and another image of this lighthouse in the "old" LF forum and I enjoyed them both then. I like the lighting on this plus the reflection in the wet sand drawing you in. The sky has been well rendered helped by your choice of filter. I went there inspired by your shots. It was heaving it down. No shots for me that day.
Hi Bill, yes you will have seen this shot before. I have to say that at the moment due to a bad back and terrible weather here I am submitting some of my older images until we can get out and about again with the LF gear. It seems recently that we only have to mention taking the LF cameras out to cause storm force winds and torrential rain almost instantly.
