I found these names engraved on a harbor wall on Achill Island. What is the story behind this? I have also discovered names like this in other harbors.
Are they the names of the Fisherman, lost at sea? Purteen Harbour is a cracking venue, especially when there is a big Atlantic swell. Next time I'm over, I will enquire.
