Can anybody recommend some binder sleeves that fit 5x7 negatives, I bought some paper bags but are so fiddly to get the negative in, they seem tight. I would prefer some a4 size pages to store in a binder. I have looked on line but most are for post cards not negatives.

All the Secol stuff is very good, could try something like this:

I use the 5x4" equivalent of the above for my filing, with each sheet in an individual sleeve for handling/viewing on a lightbox. The 5x7" equivalent being here:

I bought mine, which are Printfile 57, in"The Camera Store", Calgary, it's a great shop. There were 3 National Geographic photographers in the sore at the time, my friend knew them.

Around £25 here in the UK for 100 sheets A4 from Parallax.

If long-term storage is important to you, understand that most things on the market today present obstacles to negative safety over time. Glassine is worst, but the very common low- or medium-density-polyethylene (LDPE/MDPE) and polypropylene (PP) pages aren't great either. Polyester (PETE) is optimum, but very expensive. Best compromise, as identified by Wilhelm in his definitive tome

is high-density polyethylene (HDPE). For 5x7, I use these 34-307 envelopes:

I'm not sure how available they are in the UK, and they're not pages, so require a box to store them in. I use these 02-005 or similar boxes:

If long-term preservation is not important to you, any of the common pages will likely be sufficient for a few decades. It's important to avoid high humidity conditions, especially if combined with pressure on the pages, to minimize the damage those products can do to negatives.

The Secol stuff is polyester and very good quality and not that expensive in the grand scheme of things.
