That is so kind. To be honest I currently use the exact same setup for my portraits: f16, 1/125, Ilford HP5+ film, and only use my Godox AD600 to adjust exposure. That way I can just focus on the subject.They are all Beautiful. The ability to capture portraits is a great gift, not something I find easy at all.
That's good advice, thank you.They are excellent images, maybe there's a but . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . though.
Look at Irving Penn's portraits made in a tent, and consistency. I think you need to balance the output print or scan, the background should be the same, don't re-interpret.
Start with the tonality in the second image, that's missing from the first because you have exaggerated the contrast, same but to a lesser extent with the third and fourth, reign back, the basic images are excellent but just don't work together, (At the moment).
