Yes David you are right about my intentions. Thanks for the comment.Some front rise has been applied. The lens was positioned about halfway up the lower windows. You can check this by looking for the most horizontal stripe on the facade.
My guess is that the photographer wanted to include the bicycle road-marking as a nod towards student lifestyle. That would account for the slightly off-centre placement of the camera.
The contrast between the free-form tree and the geometric building is well seen.

Yes. At that time many of such pipes (the part accessible without ladder) were stolen on the Campus within a few days ! Buisness is buisness...A skinhead tree! Glad it’s recovered. I find the down pipe on the right very odd too. It seems to discharge right into thin air.
