TEB no 5 circa around 1902

Took this with my Chamonix 4x5 on Fuji Acros, simple light set one led to right and a small light on the right to open shadows, its a lovely old camera, bought some extensions to fit on the end of the 120 rolls (Its a 118 film size I think) but was very unstable so its an ornament part of my collection these days, also took glass 3¼ x 4¼" plates, shutter works fine as far as I can tell, the 1 second though sounds more like 1/2sec, the other problem using modern film is the shutter, its like a transparent deep red, old orthochromatic film would not be sensitive to that but I think the panchromatic film would be, at least I think so

Probably German made and badged for Tyler & England Bros. Is it marked No 5 as it doesn't look like the ones I've seen but there may have been variations of the front standard. I recognise that front standard I think one of the companies that merged to form ICA, Huttig maybe, or Krugener.

Very nice, I have similar larger roll film cameras with the same Bausch & Lomb shutter which dominated util the Compound was introdiced.

You can still buy some ortho films -- Ilford Ortho 80 is sold in 120 at least, I think it's offered in 4x5 (5x4 on your side of the pond) as well (and could be cut down to 3x4 under red safelight, of course).
