Does anyone know anything about this lens or ever used one? The lens board is approximately 190mm x 190mm, bigger than any of my cameras will ever be.

You might be able to identify it here.

Yes, you can measure it naturally.
32" more than 800mm!

I'd struggle shooting portraits with that lens with my Agfa Ansco Commercial View and extension rail, that's 37" bellows extension.

The 190mm x190mm lens board is the same dimensions as the Agfa Ansco boards. There are people making large wet plate images who might pay an arm & a leg for a lens like that.

That's where the Sinar system shines, being able to add more rails, bellows and standards is genius.

My lens came with a wooden extension tube, sliding box design where the lens fits to one end and I assume the other end fits to a front standard. The front section has a tripod screw. It's approximately 24 inches long. 10x8 seems like a big crop factor on what this lens is capable of. I'm waiting to hear back from a friend who has a 20x16 process camera :D

The wet platers will have their chance to own this lens some day. I won't hang onto it after I'd had some fun with it. This should be put to good use instead of sitting in storage.
