I wanted to try out my new 75mm lens on my Snapshot 4x5 Camera, after experimenting with the right lenght of front standard bars, to get the focus correct. This camera has no movement so I had to lean it back a bit to fit the tower in.White Church Lytham.jpg
I went out last night to photograph Lytham beach front around Fairheaven lake area, but When I got there it was completely dark, it normally has some lights on.
Anyway the weather was not good and it was quite windy, I decided to try this local church as it was lit up well and shaded a bit from the weather, not the easiest of things to meter for at night as its built from white stone. I also had a few rain drops on my lens.

Anyway as you can see its turned out not to bad, the lens is very good and sharp, I shot it on Ilford Fp4+ @ F22 13.20 mins with -2 stops, and used the Reciprosity app on my phone. I have not shot this film before at night so went with what the app was giving me. I used a 1 hour stand dev in 510 Pyro.
The neg was a bit over exposed but managable to get a decent image.
I think box speed would have been a better exposure so noted for next time.
