75mm lens on a Chamonix F1 camera

Look at this review, he's using a 72mm.

I usea 75mm f5.6 SA on my Wista 45DX with no issues, but my 65mm SA includes the front of the bed, something I can work around. The Chamonix F-1 can be used with the 58mm SA.

I prefer the 75mm to my 65mm but both make great images.

Lovely, I do like a wide shot especially when there is an interesting sky.

Certainly there’s no mechanical issues using that lens on that camera, no need for anything complicated or bag bellows etc. Just push the rear standard as far forward in the slots as possible.

I can’t remember which Chamonix model I have, possibly the F2. It’s got on-axis movements. I bought bag bellows for it but have never used them yet. I use a 65mm lens without any issues. Do as Dave mentioned above. It’s a great design and perfectly complements my Wista.

I got my 75mm Super-Angulon for use with my Galvin 2x3, and put it in a 10mm recessed board to gain a bit of bellows extension/flexibility. I did not _need_ the recessed board, but on balance I prefer the extra bellows over the awkwardness to adjusting the controls in the recessed board. It works on the 4x5 Wista DX, though it is a bit wide for my normal interests on that format. Neither of these cameras have a bag bellows option. If they did I would have stuck with a flat board.
